Research at the CREFC
On account of the research projects conducted over the course of its history, the CREFC specialises in banking, financial management, financial markets, market microstructure, econometrics, risk and probability, and accounting. Furthermore, the CREFC applies the knowledge gained through its research to education and consultancy activities.
The CREFC has a successful team of researchers that has earned several awards for its endeavours. The awards and distinctions members have received include the Barclays Global Investors Award for the best publication, the Michael Brennan Award, the Jacobs Prize, the “Le Cam lecturer” Award given by the French Statistical Society, the Premio Jaime Fernandez de Araoz and several distinctions from the Generalitat Government of Catalonia promoting research.
